Worming from Home Tier Lists

Buy the mouse. Pet the hat. Do not confuse the two.

Tier List Hub

Worming from Home has a shop, not a gacha banner. Rankings still help because the first bonus is small and the desk is large. This hub splits that problem in two. Upgrades ranks tools that change how you work: desk size, mouse, reading nook, gym gear, training items, intern, portal. Cosmetics ranks hats and skins you buy because you deserve a little treat, as the Steam page says. If you came here from a Roblox habit looking for a unit list, you are in a single-player physics sim. There are no fighters to S-tier.

How these lists are built

Tiers are launch-week judgments from the store description, demo catalogs, playthroughs, and press previews. They are not datamined DPS. A larger desk is high because every commute shrinks. A sock hat is low for promotion and high for joy. When a patch changes a price or a perk gate, we will move rows and point at launch notes. We will not invent stats the game does not show.

Read Getting Started if you have not clocked in. Read Worm-Life Balance if you cannot tell a gym from a cosmetic. Read How to Get Promoted if you are ranking items against a title instead of a vibe.

Spending rules that beat any letter grade

  1. If you cannot type, buy movement and mouse before drip.
  2. If you cannot open the market, buy the training/nook path before dice.
  3. If you cannot see the monitor, buy the camera-lock habit for free, then a monitor extension if the shop still offers one.
  4. If you are happy, buy the hat. This is an $8 worm game.

Sibling pages in this category link both ways on purpose. An upgrade write-up that mentions a sock should send you to cosmetics. A cosmetics write-up that mentions a desk should send you back here. Cross links to tasks, stocks, and tools exist so you do not treat the shop as the whole wiki.

What is not ranked

Perk internals can shift. Exact gold costs can shift. Demo-only jokes can vanish. Those belong in notes, not in fake infinite rows. The worm hole is ranked as an upgrade because it is a purchased activity, then explained as a course in Worm Hole. Interns are ranked as upgrades because they change the desk population, not because they are playable characters.

Official store, Discord, and socials stay on Links. If you only have time for one list, open upgrades.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Is this a character tier list?

No. Worming from Home is a single-player desk sim. We rank shop upgrades and cosmetics, not fighters.

Should I follow the list blindly?

No. If you came for hats, buy hats. The S-tier is for people who want the promotion to move.

Will prices match my save?

Maybe not. We rank function, not a live gold sheet, and we update after patches noted on Updates.
